Why we included this project

If you work with satellite or aerial imagery and need to know what changed between two passes over the same ground, this repository is a good place to start. It accompanies a survey paper on AI-based change detection (state of the art and challenges) and gathers dozens of published methods, each with its paper, reference, and open implementation links, plus the datasets used to train and evaluate them. Filters by framework, say PyTorch or TensorFlow, or by approach such as Siamese, transformer, GAN-based, or unsupervised, let you go straight from a method name to runnable code and the ground-truth data to try it on. The pages also organize optical, SAR, and street-view data sources, which helps when you are looking for a benchmark that matches your own scenario. It is not software you install; it is a curated index that saves most of the literature and code hunting.
