Why we included this project

RD-Agent comes from Microsoft and treats research as something a team of LLM agents can actually run. Instead of answering a question and stopping, it sets up a loop: propose a hypothesis, write the code, run the experiment, look at the results, and try again. The practical part is that it ships with working scenarios for quant finance factor mining, data science and Kaggle-style tasks, and LLM fine-tuning, so you can point it at one of those workflows and let the agents grind through the trial and error. Teams that spend their days building and testing models will recognize the chores it automates, and the reusable framework plus scenario templates mean it is usable now rather than a research prototype you have to assemble yourself. Just keep it in a controlled environment and stay in the loop on what the agents decide to do.
