Why we included this project

Kirara AI is a self-hosted chat bot that lives inside WeChat, QQ, Telegram, Discord, or Feishu and answers using whatever model you pick, from OpenAI and DeepSeek to Claude, Gemini, and local Ollama instances. A workflow system does the wiring: you define triggers and multi-turn behavior, and replies can include images or voice, not just text. The built-in WebUI handles model management and scheduling, with a plugin marketplace on top, so you end up with a working assistant rather than a framework you have to assemble yourself. An HTTP API covers platforms without native support. For teams or hobbyists who want a customizable assistant with personality presets that reaches several chat apps at once, this is a practical, self-hosted option.
