Why we included this project
Describing a diagram in plain language and getting back an editable Excalidraw canvas is the core trick here. It supports over twenty chart types, from flowcharts and sequence diagrams to ER diagrams and mind maps, and you can keep refining the output by hand after the AI has placed the first pass. Setup is a Next.js app: bring your own OpenAI or Anthropic key, or let a server-side model handle requests behind an access password. For teams that want clean architecture and documentation diagrams without clicking every box into place, that workflow saves real time.
