Why we included this project

Teams that live in draw.io often find themselves redrawing the same diagrams by hand. This app turns that into a conversation: describe what you want in plain language, and the LLM produces an editable draw.io diagram you can keep refining through the chat. It also takes uploaded images, PDFs, and text files to pull diagrams out of existing material, and it has dedicated support for cloud architecture diagrams on AWS, GCP, and Azure. An MCP server lets agents like Claude Desktop, Cursor, and VS Code create diagrams directly, so it fits into an AI-assisted workflow instead of demanding a separate editor. If you want a self-hosted, provider-agnostic way to produce and iterate on technical diagrams, this is a practical option.
