Why we included this project

Kusion treats application delivery as declarative code, so a team building an internal developer platform can describe a workload and its dependencies in one configuration file instead of maintaining per-environment scripts. The tool then provisions the infrastructure and deploys to Kubernetes from that single spec. Platform engineers bake security, compliance, and networking rules into shared modules and workspaces once, which gives app teams a self-service route onto standardized infrastructure. The experience resembles Terraform but covers both infrastructure and application manifests, with change previews and state management plus a library of reusable modules. That makes it a workable choice for shops that want one platform-engineering workflow to handle AI and LLM services alongside their regular workloads.
