Why we included this project

Koishi is a chatbot framework rather than a finished assistant, so the bot you end up with tends to match what you actually need. Its browser-based console and online plugin marketplace let you add platform adapters, a database, or specific features without writing code from scratch, and a single codebase can run the same bot across QQ, Telegram, Discord, and Feishu while sharing accounts and state between platforms. The project is written in TypeScript, so plugin developers get real type checking, and hot reloading updates a running bot on save instead of forcing a restart. With more than 3,000 official and community plugins and documentation that walks newcomers through setup.
