Why we included this project
Ollama users who want a proper web front end instead of the CLI will find this a comfortable fit. It began as a fork of Chatbot UI, and the added touches are aimed at daily use: PDF, text, and markdown files can be uploaded and attached to the prompt, images work with vision models, and code blocks support copy, download, and line wrapping toggles. A stop generation button, auto-scroll control, and keyboard shortcuts cover the common annoyances of long chats. Since it ships as a Docker image on port 3000, you can run it next to any Ollama server and have a clean interface up quickly, all while keeping conversations on your own hardware.
