Why we included this project
Animate UI is a collection of animated React components you can install and adapt instead of writing the animation logic yourself. The components come through the shadcn registry, so they drop into a Next.js or React project as source code you can modify to fit your own design system. That makes it useful for frontend developers and small teams who want polished hover effects, transitions, and micro-interactions without reinventing common patterns. Because the code is MIT-licensed and copy-paste installable, the project also works as a reference for how Motion handles these animations cleanly.
