Why we included this project

Design engineers who work with AI coding agents on interface tasks are the main audience here. The package ships a small CLI (npx ui-skills) alongside a curated registry of skills, which are structured instruction sets that tell an agent which guidance to load for a given UI job, whether that's an accessibility audit, an animation-performance pass, a metadata fix, or a general polish sweep. Instead of dumping generic best practices, each skill targets a specific scenario and the router picks the smallest relevant set, so the agent stays on task rather than overreaching. Teams using tools like Claude or Cursor who want steadier, higher-quality frontend output will find these packs a practical way to encode design judgment they'd otherwise have to repeat in every prompt.
