Why we included this project

This desktop app moves full-length books, subtitle tracks, and Word documents between languages without breaking their layout. It feeds text through whatever LLM backend you prefer, from Ollama running locally for privacy to Gemini, OpenAI, Mistral, DeepSeek, or OpenRouter via API keys, and accepts EPUB, SRT, DOCX, and TXT input. Chunking preserves context between segments, so a thousand-page novel stays coherent, and formatting plus subtitle timecodes survive the round trip. Interrupted jobs resume from checkpoints instead of forcing a restart, and you can extract a writing style from a sample book or let the app auto-derive a glossary to keep terminology consistent. Translators, self-publishers, and small teams localizing documents or subtitles are the natural audience.
