Why we included this project

Botonic is a full-stack framework that lets you write conversational apps as React components, so a team that already builds with React gets a familiar mental model instead of a proprietary DSL. You develop locally with hot reload and deploy to serverless infrastructure, which keeps operational overhead low for small teams. The plugin system is where it saves real time: NLU providers like Dialogflow and Watson, CMS backends like Contentful, and analytics services all drop in without you writing glue code. One codebase runs across WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram, Twitter DMs, the web, and mobile, which is useful if you need a single conversation experience on many channels. The CLI handles scaffolding, serving, and deployment, leaving you to focus on the conversation flow rather than infrastructure.
