Why we included this project

Anyone who writes with an LLM knows the feeling: the draft comes back clean, but every paragraph carries the same telltale rhythm. This skill file turns that vague unease into a concrete checklist. It ships editing rules in a SKILL.md plus reference files that Claude Code, Claude Projects, or a plain API call can load, so the guidance lives where you write instead of in a blog post. The rules are unusually specific: banned openers, emphasis crutches, adverb habits, structural clichés like binary contrasts and dramatic fragmentation, and sentence-level constraints such as no em dashes or passive voice. A five-dimension scoring rubric (directness, rhythm, trust, authenticity, density) gives you a pass/fail check instead of guesswork. Because it's plain markdown, you can adapt the rules to your own voice or fork them into a team style guide.
