Why we included this project

Instead of installing a separate app for each model provider, you can run ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and DeepSeek from a single native Android client. ChatAir talks to all four through their APIs and also accepts custom endpoints such as OpenRouter, One-api, or a local Ollama server, which makes it easy to compare models or point it at your own setup. The app renders Markdown with code highlighting, handles image recognition, and lets you adjust prompts, temperature, history, and reply length, so it can be tuned to how you actually work. If you want a mobile chat client that is not tied to one vendor and can reach both hosted and self-hosted models, this is a practical choice.
