Why we included this project

Astryx is a component library for teams writing React interfaces, including internal tools where human engineers and coding assistants both produce UI code. It grew out of Meta's internal design system and ships 150+ accessible components, theming, dark mode, templates, and a CLI in one package. You import prebuilt CSS and use typed React components, with no build plugin or styling library to adopt. The components are open at every level, so you can eject full source for any piece and own it, and the API, docs, and CLI are shaped so humans and agents work from the same reference. That graduated path, from theme tokens to complete source ownership, gives teams control without locking them into a framework.
