Why we included this project

big-AGI is a chat front-end that puts one polished interface in front of many model providers, so you do not end up hopping between separate tabs for GPT, Claude, Gemini, and the rest. Its Beam mode is the headline feature: send a single prompt to several models at once and read their replies side by side, which settles a lot of "which model is better for this task?" questions without extra copy-pasting. Beyond text chat, it bundles image generation, voice input, streaming responses, syntax-highlighted code that actually runs, and PDF import, so most routine AI work stays in one place. You can self-host it with Docker or deploy to Vercel, which makes it an easy choice for individuals and small teams who want model-agnostic access while keeping their data on their own servers. Developers also get presets and per-provider configuration that shorten the setup time.
