Why we included this project

Dembrandt answers a question most teams have asked at some point: what exactly is this site's design system? Point it at a URL and it runs a headless browser over the page, returning colors, typography, spacing, borders, shadows, and motion as structured design tokens you can actually use. It works two ways, as a command line tool for competitor audits or rebranding work and as an MCP server, so an AI assistant in Claude Code, Cursor, or Windsurf can pull the same tokens on demand. Output is flexible, with W3C DTCG token export or a DESIGN.md that agents can read, and the optional drift tracking lets CI flag styling regressions between releases. Teams syncing a design system with a live site, or feeding real specs into design-to-code work, save the tedious manual inspection step.
