Why we included this project
Coroot's pitch is that collecting metrics, logs, and traces is only the first step, and the tool tries to carry the observability work further on its own. The eBPF-based agent pulls in that telemetry automatically, without code changes, which matters for legacy or third-party services that won't accept an instrumentation agent. From there the AI-assisted root cause analysis suggests likely culprits, while SLO tracking and predefined inspections deliver health summaries instead of raw dashboards you have to assemble yourself. That makes it a practical fit for SRE and DevOps teams who want faster incident response without hand-correlating signals, and it stays self-hosted and vendor neutral, built around OpenTelemetry and ClickHouse.
