Why we included this project

Kelivo packs the everyday conveniences people expect from a modern LLM chat app into a single Flutter build that runs on phones and desktops. Rather than locking you into one vendor, it puts OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, and other providers behind a single interface, with custom assistants, image and document upload, markdown rendering (including code highlighting and LaTeX), and tool calling through the Model Context Protocol. It also supports HarmonyOS alongside Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux, which matters if you use Harmony devices. For individuals who want a polished chat tool without paying for a hosted product, this is a practical self-hosted option. Developers wiring multiple LLM providers into a Flutter app can also learn from its codebase, especially the dynamic theming, multimodal input handling, and provider abstraction.
