Why we included this project

If you want to run conversational agents on your own infrastructure, Bot Libre gives you the whole stack in one Java codebase: an NLP engine, a web console for building and deploying bots, and SDKs for Android, iOS, and the web. That means the same bot logic can serve mobile apps, websites, and social media without stitching together separate services. It also covers virtual agents and live chat automation, so it suits customer-facing deployments that need more than a simple chatbot endpoint. Because it's self-hosted and written in Java, it appeals to teams that want control over their bot infrastructure and prefer extending a mature codebase over starting fresh.
