Why we included this project

AWS teams that would rather adapt a proven chatbot blueprint than assemble one from scratch will find this useful. It packages the whole stack, from model access and retrieval to authentication and a React interface, as an AWS CDK deployment, so you can spin up a RAG-capable assistant in your own account and then change what you need. Supporting several model providers at once is a real convenience, since you can test Claude and Llama models on Bedrock side by side before committing to one vendor. The repository also ships with architecture and deployment documentation, which makes it a decent way to learn how a production LLM chatbot on AWS is usually put together.
