Why we included this project

HertzBeat is worth a look if you manage a mixed fleet of servers, databases, middleware, and cloud-native workloads and want one place to keep an eye on them. It collects metrics and ingests logs without an agent on every host, talking to services over standard protocols like HTTP, JDBC, SSH, SNMP, and JMX instead, with alerting and notification delivery built into the same product. Skipping per-host agents removes a whole layer of upgrade and lifecycle work, which is a real relief when you are watching hundreds of machines at once. On top of that core sits the newer AI work: language-model-driven analysis of monitoring data, plus an MCP server that external agents can query. There is also a status-page builder for showing uptime to end users. If you are coming from Prometheus or Zabbix and want metrics, logs, and alerting in one tool with a friendlier interface, this is a practical candidate to trial before you commit.
