Why we included this project

Animockup is a browser-based editor that turns raw screen recordings or video into finished product teasers, no dedicated video software required. You drop a capture in, crop it to fit one of more than twenty device frames, then customize from there: gradient backgrounds, text and images, entrance and exit animations, duration, easing, framerate, and export format. Because the whole thing runs in the browser, it's a lightweight option for design-minded teams that want a repeatable, non-destructive way to produce consistent previews for launch pages and social posts. Marketers and indie makers who ship product announcements often get the most value out of it, and the project supports self-hosting if you'd rather not depend on a hosted SaaS.
