Why we included this project
Anyone who does serious work in Photoshop will appreciate not having to leave the canvas to generate images. The plugin connects to an Automatic1111 or ComfyUI backend you already run, so the familiar generation controls appear as a panel inside Photoshop while your layers, masks, and editing tools stay put. You can create images from a text prompt, edit existing ones, and repaint or extend parts of a picture without exporting anything. A companion extension for Automatic1111 adds mask expansion and blur, which helps when you are touching up an area and want the result to blend cleanly. If you do not have a local GPU, the plugin still works through remote setups like Stable Horde or Colab. The whole point is that the AI-assisted workflow, from prompt to finished layered file, happens inside a program you already know.
