Why we included this project
Most people using DeepSeek through the browser end up juggling tabs, pasting context, searching the web elsewhere, and saving chats by hand. DeepSeek++ turns the DeepSeek web interface itself into a working agent. It runs as a Chrome, Edge, or Firefox extension and layers tool calling, MCP tool management, long-term memory, reusable Skills, and scheduled automation onto the existing chat. Most of the work happens in a side panel, where you manage MCP tools and permissions, run web searches, pull text from a page, control a selected tab through visible browser actions, and export conversations to HTML, Markdown, or PDF. Everything stays local and rides on your logged-in DeepSeek session, so there is no separate backend to run. If you already do serious work in DeepSeek's web app and want agent-style workflows plus conversation backups without standing up a whole new stack, this is a direct fit.
