Why we included this project

This MCP server is for teams that need to understand what a website's JavaScript actually does, and it frames the problem as an AI agent's workflow rather than a raw DevTools dump. Script listing, breakpoint debugging, network and WebSocket inspection, and browser state get repackaged into 24 discrete tools an agent can reason over step by step, so a typical session runs from opening the page and finding an encryption routine to setting a text-based breakpoint in minified code and reading call frames and scope variables. It also handles the fiddly parts that trip people up when they do this by hand, like clearing per-site cookies and storage to replay a risk-control flow while keeping a logged-in profile across sessions. Patchright's protocol-level stealth is on by default, with an optional --cloak flag for the CloakBrowser binary when a site has heavier anti-bot defenses, and none of that makes it a general scraper. Setup is a one-line npx config in Claude, Cursor, Codex, or VS Code Copilot.
