Why we included this project

Finding the right annotation tool for a data-centric ML pipeline can take longer than the labeling itself. This curated index, maintained by the ZenML team, gathers open-source labeling projects and sorts them by data type, so you can compare options for text, images, audio, video, time series, and multimodal work without hopping between dozens of repos. Each entry links to the upstream project with a short description and license, which makes it handy for shortlisting candidates before you commit. It's a reference list rather than something you run yourself, but as a starting point for evaluating annotation software it's worth a bookmark.
