Why we included this project
Your Next Store is a Next.js e-commerce template aimed at teams that want to launch a storefront and then let AI coding agents handle the customization. It ships with an AGENTS.md file and a typed Commerce SDK, so Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex can find their way around and extend the code without much hand-holding. Stripe integration covers checkout, billing, and subscriptions directly, which saves you most of the payment plumbing a store launch usually needs. If you want a fast, self-hostable starting point for an online shop and plan to iterate with AI coding tools, this is a practical base rather than a toy demo.
