Why we included this project

Webiny is a self-hosted content platform that runs inside your own AWS account on Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFront. You get the usual serverless trade: nothing to patch, and the stack scales on its own, with the whole infrastructure provisioned through Pulumi in a single deploy command. It is a TypeScript framework you extend in code rather than configure through a closed UI, which is the main reason engineering teams pick it up. The headless CMS gives you a GraphQL API, field-level permissions, localization, versioning, and multi-tenancy, and the Website Builder adds a drag-and-drop page editor with a Next.js SDK, so pages render through your own frontend and custom elements are plain React components. If you are already living in AWS, the open, editable infrastructure templates are a real draw: you can tune Lambda memory, VPC setup, and alarms without running any servers yourself.
