Why we included this project

Short Video Factory is a desktop app that turns a text prompt and your raw clips into finished short videos. You describe the story, drop in the footage, and it writes the script through any OpenAI-compatible API, voices it with Edge TTS, cuts the clips to match, and burns in subtitles automatically. The batch mode is the part most teams will care about: queue several jobs against the same preset and it keeps producing videos on schedule, which fits content calendars and repeated product demos. Everything runs locally on your machine, so raw footage never leaves it, and the bundled manual makes setup approachable even if you have not worked with model APIs before. It is not a general-purpose editor, and creative direction happens mostly through prompts and presets rather than a timeline, but for marketing shorts and quote-style videos it removes most of the busywork.
