Why we included this project

yao-open-skills is a public library of reusable AI skills rather than a single application you run, and that distinction is the point. Each skill packages a working method, such as turning an uncertain decision into a reviewable report, breaking a business problem into structured analysis, or producing a finished tutorial from source material, with the prompts, evaluation rules, and output contracts written out so the result is reproducible instead of a one-off chat exchange. Teams that want to move past ad-hoc prompting will find documented workflows they can adapt, and the repo is clear about which skills are published versus still planned. Coverage spans security review, reading-data visualization, game theory, and Bayesian reasoning, so it works as a reference shelf to browse when you need a proven approach for a specific task. Treat it as a source of methodology and templates to lift into your own tooling, not as software you deploy directly.
