Why we included this project

dedao-dl is a terminal tool for getting your paid content out of China's Dedao (得到) app. Log in with a QR code or a cookie and it lists the courses, audiobooks, and ebooks tied to your account, with article text readable directly in the terminal. Depending on what you own, it can export to markdown, PDF, or mp3, loading wkhtmltopdf or ffmpeg only when you need those formats. Since every action is a single CLI command, wiring it into scripts or an agent skill is simple; that is how the author suggests using it. Treat it as an archiving and conversion utility for your own purchases, not a publishing or annotation platform。
