Why we included this project

Hand pose estimation spans a lot of ground, from pulling keypoints out of a depth frame to reconstructing full hand meshes from RGB video, and this list is a solid map of the field. It organizes papers by venue and year, covering arXiv preprints, journal and conference papers, theses, datasets, workshops, and challenges, so it is easy to see how the area has moved from early depth-based work to more recent approaches. Many entries link to code or project pages, which spares you the usual digging for implementations. There is also an evaluation folder with scripts and collected predictions for standard benchmarks such as NYU, ICVL, and MSRA, so you can compare published results on the same footing.
