Why we included this project

This curated index maps the field of sentiment analysis for people coming at it from either direction: researchers hunting for survey papers and baseline systems, and developers who just want to know why a review reads positive or negative. The links span classic lexical counting, supervised approaches like Naive Bayes and SVMs, and unsupervised methods such as word embeddings, then point to open-source implementations in Python, Java, Node.js, and other languages alongside hosted SaaS APIs. Collecting survey papers, labeled corpora, and working code in one place saves the hours you would otherwise spend digging across scattered repos and blog posts.
