Why we included this project

Most MCP servers hand an AI agent a document store or a chat API. This one hands it a phone. iOS MCP runs on a jailbroken iPhone and exposes 46 tools that let Claude, Codex, Cursor, or any other agent tap the screen, press hardware buttons, type text, launch and install apps, read the UI element tree, grab screenshots, pull logs, and run shell commands. That breadth is what makes it interesting: QA engineers can have an agent drive an end-to-end test on real hardware, reverse engineers get a way to script device inspection, and developers can point an agent at a live app instead of a mocked one. The trade-offs are stated plainly. You need a jailbroken device, and the service has no built-in authentication, so it belongs on a trusted LAN. If you already work with jailbreak tooling, this is a direct way to put an AI agent in front of a real iOS environment.
