Why we included this project

DSHCode wraps DeepSeek Harness in an Electron app that installs like a normal desktop program, so you can run a full agent workspace on macOS or Windows without installing Node.js or opening a terminal. The agent core has practical built-in tools: bash, file access, web search and scraping, a terminal, and subprocess handling. With sandbox isolation and per-action approval prompts, you approve each action before the agent takes it. The interface renders GenUI cards inline, so charts, tables, quizzes, and 3D scenes appear right in the conversation, and an installable skills catalog adds specialized workflows for research and document writing. Plugin management and subagent delegation are built in, and you can resume long-running sessions, which makes this a convenient way to run a self-contained agent environment as a native application.
