Why we included this project

This list tracks Chinese large language models in a single table, with one row per model and columns for the company, city, category, official site, and whether open weights are available. It covers the well-known names like Baidu's Ernie, Alibaba's Qwen, and Zhipu's ChatGLM, plus specialized models aimed at finance, medicine, law, and education. The table format makes it quick to find a particular vendor or compare models in the same domain. Since the project is community-maintained and updated as new models appear, it doubles as a running record of how the Chinese LLM scene is changing. Anyone trying to figure out which Chinese models to watch or integrate will save time by starting here, and each entry links to the project's primary source.
