Why we included this project

Anyone doing real work with Claude Code in the terminal will find this useful well past the setup stage. The guide lays out the tool's five extension points, skills, hooks, subagents, workflows, and MCP servers, in a when-to-use-what table that helps you decide before you build whether you actually need a new slash command or a subagent with isolated context. Newcomers get a path from installation to a first skill in about fifteen minutes, while experienced users find real depth on hooks, agent teams, and the BMAD framework for coordinating multiple agents. It stays current too, refreshing model lineups, deprecations, and pricing as those change, so the advice does not go stale. If you are still comparing Claude Code with other agentic coding tools, the mental models here give you a grounded way to weigh its extension points before committing to a workflow.
