Why we included this project

Recordly collapses the whole demo-video workflow into one desktop app: you record your screen, then it suggests automatic zooms based on cursor activity, smooths and styles the cursor, and drops the result into a framed composition with wallpapers, gradients, blur, and shadows. That means a product or support person can produce a polished walkthrough in minutes instead of shipping raw footage to an editor. The drag-and-drop timeline handles trims, speed regions, annotations, extra audio, and crop-aware edits, with projects saved as reusable .recordly files you can reopen. You can also layer in a webcam bubble with adjustable size, position, mirroring, and zoom-reactive scaling. It runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux with native capture backends where available, though Linux recording currently lacks cursor hiding.
