Why we included this project

Most mobile teams burn their early days on plumbing: file-based routing, state management, themes, and build pipelines, all before a screen with real content exists. This template removes that phase by shipping an Expo SDK 54 app already wired for iOS, Android, and Web, with Expo Router handling navigation, Redux Toolkit stores in place, automatic light/dark theming, and environment config tied to EAS secrets. You take it as a starting point, rename it, and get straight to writing product code. The surrounding tooling pulls its weight too: ESLint 9 flat config, Prettier, Jest with React Native Testing Library, and CI workflows that build previews and handle deployment. Its fit for AI-assisted work comes from the included Claude.md file and Cursor rules, which steer coding assistants toward the project's conventions so generated code lands cleanly instead of fighting the existing structure.
