Why we included this project

This is a community-maintained index of large language model resources, and it is one of the few organized around the actual work of building with LLMs. The sections follow the pipeline: data preparation, fine-tuning, inference, evaluation, retrieval-augmented generation, agents, and multimodal generation, so someone can land directly on the stage they are currently wrestling with. It also keeps up with topics that move fast and get buried in general directories, like MCP, small language models, and open reasoning models. For a developer or tech lead trying to get a sense of the ecosystem before picking tools, this is a solid map, and the ongoing community contributions keep it from going stale.
