Why we included this project

Generic AI assistants stop at chat. This project is a development and runtime foundation that embeds an AI assistant directly into the pages of an existing Java business system, so employees can query records, fill forms, and start business tasks in natural language without leaving the application they already use. It handles the messy integration work, from scanning pages and APIs to map what the system can do, to generating the code changes that wire the assistant in. Permissions follow the logged-in user, and writes, submissions, and approvals require explicit confirmation. Workflow orchestration plus MCP and A2A support make it a fit for teams that want governed, auditable AI behavior rather than a standalone chatbot. If you have a mature business system and want to add AI without rebuilding it, this is a practical integration backbone.
