Why we included this project

For a solo developer or small team building a generative AI SaaS, this starter handles the unglamorous parts before you write your own code. It pairs a React front end with a Django/Python backend and already includes account login and profiles, Stripe subscription billing, a Contentful CMS, and a basic OpenAI integration, so the non-AI plumbing is in place. The bundled business idea generator demonstrates one way to wire a model into the app, and the roadmap shows where chat, document Q&A, and image generation are headed. It runs locally with docker-compose and deploys to AWS via CDK, giving you a coherent, opinionated stack instead of assembling services yourself. Keep in mind it is still a work in progress, so treat it as a head start and expect to fill gaps.
