Why we included this project

This is a self-hostable, browser-based video editor built with React and Remotion, and for a team that wants editing power without paying for a SaaS subscription, it deserves a real look. You get an unlimited multi-track timeline with real-time preview and fast export, plus a natural-language assistant that turns a plain sentence about what you want into actual edits, timing, and layout changes. Data lives in PostgreSQL, access is protected with OAuth, and the Docker Compose setup lets a small team run it on its own hardware while keeping projects in sync across devices. The AGPL-3.0 license with a separate commercial option is worth reading closely if you plan to offer it as a networked service, but for internal use the code is open and easy to adapt.
