Why we included this project

Claude Trading Skills started as the author's personal project to improve their own trading process, and the result is a toolkit for individual investors who want structure without handing decisions to the AI. It packages prompts, reference material, and helper scripts as installable Claude Code skills covering market breadth, technical charting, economic calendars, screening, position sizing, and trade journaling, so the same review process runs each time instead of starting from a blank prompt. The project is explicit that it is not a signal service or an automated trading bot; the point is risk management, pre-trade discipline, and reviewing your own decisions, which suits long-term and dividend investors who run swing trading as a satellite. The workflows and skill index are machine-readable, so you can inspect and adapt them to your own cadence and risk rules, and a no-API starter path lets you try the core skills with public CSVs and local files before paying for market-data integrations.
