Why we included this project

Horizon is a self-hosted tool that pulls the RSS feeds and news sources you configure and turns them into one short daily briefing. A language model does the summarizing, the output is generated in both English and Chinese, and you can push it to a Feishu webhook so the digest lands where your team already checks in. For someone running a community or a small research or ops group, or who simply wants to stay current without hand-scanning a dozen feeds, that cuts the daily reading down to a single pass. You also pick the model backend, from Claude, GPT, and Gemini to DeepSeek or a local Ollama instance, which makes it easy to match cost and privacy preferences. Personal setup is uncomplicated, yet there's enough configuration to serve a small team's daily monitoring.
