Why we included this project

Amurex is a Chrome extension that sits quietly inside Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls, handling the note-taking and follow-up chores that eat up hours of a working week. It records a full transcript as the conversation happens, suggests relevant prompts in real time, and distills the whole call into a summary with action items. Arrive late and it gives you a recap of what you missed, so you don't have to rewind a recording; it can also draft and send follow-up emails in one click. Because the extension can be self-hosted against your own backend, teams that don't want meeting audio flowing to a third-party service have a realistic way to keep that data on their own infrastructure. For anyone who lives in back-to-back meetings, it's a practical way to offload busywork rather than a flashy demo.
