thClaws gives you a full AI agent workspace in a single Rust binary that runs entirely on your own machine, no hosted platform required. The same install offers a desktop GUI, a terminal REPL with slash commands, and headless or webapp modes, so one developer and a small team can work with the same tool in different environments. It works with multiple model providers and speaks the Model Context Protocol, which means you can hook up external tools and data sources without rebuilding your setup. You can also run several agents that coordinate as a team, and extend the harness with skills and plugins to fit your own workflows. Teams that want local control and portability across macOS, Windows, and Linux will appreciate the one-binary deployment.
