Why we included this project

Most agent tools treat a workflow as a chat session you lose when the tab closes. OpenSail instead turns recurring multi-step work into durable, runnable software you can inspect and control. You describe a process in plain English, such as checking sources each morning, summarizing changes, updating Linear, and posting to Slack, and the system builds a trigger, an agent action, connectors, delivery targets, approval gates, and budget limits around it. The governance layer is where it earns its keep: per-run and daily budgets, human approval before risky actions, run history, and a connector proxy that keeps credentials scoped. It is model-agnostic and Kubernetes-native, so you can run it on your own infrastructure and move a project from a local desktop to the cloud with state intact, which makes it a practical home for teams that want colleagues to build useful AI without losing control of cost or audit trails.
