Why we included this project

AI assistants only become useful when they can touch the files and messages you actually work with. This MCP server exposes Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Chat, Forms, Tasks, Contacts, and Drive as tools that Claude, ChatGPT, or any other Model Context Protocol client can call, so you can ask in natural language and have the assistant read, create, and edit real documents on your behalf. The editing depth and multi-user support are what set it apart: it works with OAuth 2.1 for many accounts, and it can run as a centrally hosted, stateless service for an entire organization rather than being limited to one personal inbox. A bundled CLI and code mode also let developers drive the same workspace from tools like Claude Code, not just chat interfaces. For small teams and builders who want AI to do actual work in their productivity apps, this connects the model's output to the documents, calendars, and emails where that work needs to land.
